Ranger Program: Coyotes: What You Should Know, Jan 7
Join a ranger at the Boulder Beach Amphitheater at 4 p.m. Jan. 7 to learn more about the wily and opportunistic coyote. Find out why coyotes should be observed from a distance. For more information, call 702-293-8990.

BBSC Lake Mead Marathon, Jan 14
Around 600 athletes will race through Lake Mead National Recreation Area Jan. 14 for the BBSC Lake Mead Marathon. The run begins at Boulder Beach and continues on the newly-paved River Mountains Loop Trail. The race includes a marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K. Fee Free Day, Jan 16
Entrance fees will be waived at Lake Mead National Recreation Area Jan. 16 in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Fees for camping, lake use or use of concessions still apply.
Ranger Hike: Owl Canyon, Jan 21
