Paint in the Park at War in the Pacific National Historical Park

Make a mark in your park during our artist led painting sessions! Come and embrace your creativity and learn about the rich history, culture, and natural resources of War in the Pacific National Historical Park. This event is open to participants age 12 and above, including adults. No experience is necessary, and art supplies will be provided free of charge. The painting session will be led by our 2017 Artist-in-Residence, Amber Word.

Amber Word aims to pair creativity with the community at large and create a gateway for people of all ages and experience levels to explore both art and the history of War in the Pacific National Historical Park.

Registration is from Dec. 29, 2016 through Jan. 25, 2017, at the T. Stell Newman Visitor Center, a $5.00 refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. Seating will be limited.

The registration packet can be found. Bring completed packet to the T. Stell Newman Visitor Center to sign-up.

Session 1: Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm @ Asan Beach, Asan

Session 2: Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm @ Asan Beach, Asan

Session 3: Saturday, February 4, 2017, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm @ Ga’an Point, Agat

Session 4: Saturday, February 4, 2017, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm @ Ga’an Point Agat
