Cape Hatteras National Seashore Visitor Services Closing Due to Winter Storm

In anticipation of a winter storm event, Cape Hatteras National Seashore (excluding Ocracoke) will close all visitor services, including visitor centers and off-road vehicle permit offices, at 5:00 pm today and will remain closed through Saturday, January 7. The National Park Service will reassess conditions tomorrow and reopen visitor services as soon as conditions allow. Reopening of visitor services will be announced on the park website and social media.
