The National Park Service’s Investigative Services Branch (ISB) is offering $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for a theft of ammunition at Crater Lake National Park.

Investigators have released a video of a vehicle entering the Annie Creek entrance station at approximately 2:30 a.m. on February 6, the day the theft was discovered. Investigators want to identify the occupants of the vehicle as they may have witnessed something related to the theft.

Rifle and pistol caliber ammunition was stolen from a locked building in the park headquarters area in the early morning of February 6. The ammunition was used by federal law enforcement officers for training, firearms qualifications, and regular law enforcement operations. Its theft is a felony.

If you have information that could help investigators, please contact the Investigative Services Branch by phone, text, website, email, or social media.
