National Park Week Volunteer Event on April 20 at Wright Brothers National Memorial

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on April 10, 2017. It is reproduced in full below.

On April 20, join National Park Service staff at Wright Brothers National Memorial to volunteer during National Park Week. Help us paint the pilot’s booth from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Enter through the entrance station and let the attendant know you'll be participating in the volunteer event.

Bring eye protection (i.e. sunglasses), water, and snacks. Wear appropriate clothing, including closed toe shoes. Children under the age of 18 must have their parent or legal guardian with them.

National Park Week is an annual national celebration of people, parks, trails, heritage areas, national trails and rivers, seashores, historic sites, beautiful landscapes, and so many more remarkable places! The National Park Service encourages everyone to find their own connection to the vast network of public lands and places that protect and preserve our natural and cultural history.
