Closure at the Historic Manitou Island Fish Camp - Tuesday-Friday June 23rd through July 28th

Bayfield, WI - The historic Manitou Fish Camp and dock will be closed to the public Tuesday through Friday June 23rd through July 28th while the Governor’s Cabin and other fish camp structures receive much needed repairs and maintenance.

Rotted log sections of the Governor’s Cabin will be removed and replaced, restored wood sealed and caulked, and drain tile installed to help protect the cabin into the future. Exterior repairs to other fish camp structures, such as the bunkhouse, net shed, twine shed and ice fishing shed will also be completed.
