Prospectus Forthcoming for Mountain Guiding Concessions in Denali National Park and Preserve

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Aug. 14, 2017. It is reproduced in full below.

This fall the National Park Service (NPS) intends to award multiple concession contracts for providing mountaineering guide services to the public within Denali National Park and Preserve. The solicitation is expected to be released no earlier than Sept. 1, 2017 and no later than Sept. 30, 2017.

Once released, the prospectus will be posted for a minimum of 60 days. The proposed contracts will have a term of Jan. 1, 2019 through Dec. 31, 2028. The solicitation, selection and award of the concession contract will be conducted pursuant to 36 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 51 and Part 13.

Once posted, the prospectus will be available to interested applicants either via the NPS Commercial Services website or by requesting a hard copy through the Alaska Regional Office.
