The Mystery and Myths of Lees Lost Orders

What are the Lost Orders, who lost them, who found them, where, and how many cigars were with them? On Saturday, September 9, 2017, learn more about this discovery during the 1862 Maryland Campaign and its significance to Monocacy National Battlefield. Programs feature ranger-led presentations about Special Orders 191 and the 1862 Maryland Campaign. Period music by Ampersand from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm will round out the event. All events are free and will take place at the visitor center.
