Kenai Fjords National Park Employment Workshop November 7

Seward, AK - Kenai Fjords National Park is preparing for the summer 2018 hiring season! Join National Park Service staff for a community employment workshop at the Seward library from 6:30 - 7:30 pm on Tuesday, November 7, to learn more about upcoming opportunities at the park.

The workshop will feature information about the different job opportunities within the park, with rangers and park staff on hand for a round table discussion to speak about upcoming projects and talk about the exciting work happening in the park. We will also cover many aspects of the hiring process, including the NPS Local Hire applications, USAJobs applications, timelines for hiring, federal government resume writing tips and guidance, and more. Park staff will be available after the presentation for an informal networking session and to answer questions one on one.

Kenai Fjords National Park hires over 40 seasonal staff each summer, with a wide range of opportunities including maintenance staff, trail crew workers, visitor resource protection rangers, interpretive rangers, resource management biological and science technicians, and more.
