INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE: Join staff and visitors on Veterans Day, Saturday, Nov. 11, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center as we honor our nation’s veterans with a film and a short presentation.
We will show the film “Vietnam Nurses with Dana Delaney" in the Visitor Center’s auditorium. The film reveals the stories of the women who served in the Vietnam era. The story includes personal accounts from eight nurses who helped save the lives of soldiers and saw firsthand the horrors of war.
The Indiana Dunes Visitor Center is located at 1215 North State Road 49, about one mile north of Interstate 94.
