Kenai Fjords National Park Opens Exit Glacier Area to 2018 Snowmachine Use

Kenai Fjords National Park has opened the Exit Glacier Developed Area to off road snowmachine use. Open areas include, the Exit Glacier Road, a designated route through the Exit Glacier campground to Exit Creek, and the Exit Glacier outwash plain.

Park visitors are reminded to be alert for changing snow conditions, and hazards buried beneath the snow. While winter in Kenai Fjords can be a beautiful and rewarding place to visit, your safety is your responsibility when visiting your National Parks.
