April 13, 2018 - Today's Prescribed Fire is cancelled at Gettysburg National Military Park

Gettysburg, Pa. (April 13, 2018) - Due to the forecast for high winds this afternoon, the National Park Service will not conduct a prescribed fire at Gettysburg National Military Park today. South Confederate Avenue and Sickles Avenue will be closed throughout the day for continued preparations for the planned prescribed fire on Saturday, April 14.

On Saturday, April 14, the prescribed fire will be conducted on all or most of the 215 acres between Devils Den and South Confederate Avenue, weather permitting.
