Hidden Canyon Trail Closed due to Rockfall

Springdale, UT- A rockfall came down on Hidden Canyon Trail late Monday afternoon, July 2, 2018. No one was injured. The rockfall occurred in the chains section, covering approximately 45 feet of trail in sand. Hidden Canyon Trail will remain closed until the trail and the chains can be assessed and the trail cleared.

Hidden Canyon Trail was built in 1928 and leads from East Rim Trail into the side ravine between Cable Mountain and the north wall of the Great White Throne.
