Beach Hazards Statement Issued for Point Reyes National Seashore from Thursday, July 5 through Saturday, July 7, 2018.

The National Weather Service has issued a Beach Hazard Statement which remains in effect from 5 am Thursday through Saturday afternoon.

A moderate-sized long-period southerly swell generated by Hurricane Fabio will arrive along the central coast on Thursday morning and continue through the weekend. The largest southerly waves are forecast to arrive late Thursday into early Friday.

Primarily south facing coastal sections of Marin County will be impacted. In particular southwest facing beaches including but not limited to Limantour Beach, Wildcat Beach, and Stinson Beach.
