Yosemite National Park Hosts 18th Annual Hydroclimate Meeting in Yosemite Valley

This free event is open to all, beginning at 9:00 am October 11 and 12, 2018

Yosemite National Park is proud to host the 18th annual Hydroclimate Meeting in Yosemite Valley, on Thursday, October 11 and Friday, Oct. 12, 2018. This event is a two-day meeting where scientists conducting research in the Sierra Nevada work to share information gained on a variety of topics, including hydrology, ecological restoration, fire, and more.

This free event is open to all, beginning each day at 9:00 am in the Garden Terrace Room at Yosemite Valley Lodge.

Featured speakers include National Park Service scientists who work in Yosemite National Park, researchers from UC Merced, UC San Diego-La Jolla, USGS, and more. Please join us to learn more about some of the engaging climate and hydrology research taking place in Yosemite National Park and the Sierra Nevada, and related discussions on climate change, drought, forest fire and wildlife habitat.
