The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on March 4, 2019. It is reproduced in full below.

Brecksville, Ohio - Cuyahoga Valley National Park is developing exhibits for the park’s new central visitor center, set to open later this year. The public is invited to attend one of three open houses to preview and provide input on the exhibits. The park is working to create a welcoming experience that helps visitors of various backgrounds and abilities find what interests them and easily plan their own park experience. Feedback from the public is a critical step at this point in the design. Participants may arrive at any time during the open house and should plan on allowing approximately 90 minutes to review the exhibits and provide comments. No registration is required.

Open Houses are scheduled on the following dates:

Monday, March 18

2 - 5 p.m., Happy Days Lodge

Tuesday, March 19

2 - 7:30 p.m., Happy Days Lodge

Wednesday, March 20

2 - 7:30 p.m., Hines Hill Conference Center

Happy Days Lodge is located at 500 West Streetsboro Road (Route 303), Peninsula. Park in the main lot across the street and use the tunnel to walk over to the lodge. Those with limited mobility can park next to the building. This facility is wheelchair accessible.

Hines Hill Conference Center is located at 1403 West Hines Hill Road, Peninsula. The open house is on the second floor, which is not wheelchair accessible.
