Saguaro National Park Hosts Photographer Frank Ruggles

for Special Park Programs March 23-25

Tucson, AZ -Saguaro National Park to co-host former National Park Service Eminent Photographer, Frank Ruggles. Mr. Ruggles will present a lecture on his experience photographing America's natural treasures. Drawing upon his paratrooper training, Frank set on a three year, 25,000-mile journey that spanned more than 250 National Parks and Forests through all 50 US States. We are pleased to invite the public to join special park programming hosted by our partners, Western National Parks Association and featuring Frank Ruggles.

Following in the footsteps of famous photographer Ansel Adams, Ruggles has captured stunning photographs of America’s natural wonders in some of the most seldom seen and hard-to-reach places.

Lectures to be hosted in the Red Hills Visitor Center in the park’s west district at 2700 N. Kinney Road, Tucson, AZ 85743 and are open to the public. Admission to the event is included in park entrance fee.

March 23 and 24 at 2:15pm, in the auditorium

March 25 at 11:15am and 2:15pm, in the auditorium

Frank Ruggles will also host two photography workshops in the evening at the Red Hills Visitor Center. Reservations are required and participation is limited to 25 people for each workshop. Reservations must be completed by phone no later than March 21st, and will close as soon as 25 reservations are made. Please call (520) 733-5158 to secure a space in the workshop. Participants should plan to bring a camera, water bottle, and dress appropriately for the cooler evening weather.
