Skagway - Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park is preparing for the summer season. Entrance to all public buildings and programs are free. Tour space is limited. Same-day tickets are available for free at the visitor center. Advance tickets are available online at www.recreation.gov for a small processing fee.
Visitor Center and Museum (2nd & Broadway)
Opens for the season April 28th. Operates daily 8:30am to 5:30pm. The park film Gold Fever: Race to the Klondike, is shown hourly from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Mascot Saloon Museum (3rd & Broadway)
Opens for the season April 28th. Operates daily 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Moore Homestead Museum (5th & Spring St.)
Opens for the season May 12th. Operates daily 10:00am to 5:00pm.
Trail Center (Broadway between 5th & 6th)
Opens for the season May 22th. Operates daily 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Junior Ranger Activity Center (4th & Broadway)
Opens for the season June 3rd. Operates Monday - Friday 10:00am to 3:00pm.
Jeff. Smiths Parlor Museum (2nd between Broadway & State St.)
Opens for the season May 12th. Operates daily. 30-minute tours offered at 11:15am, 1:15pm, and 4:15pm. Limit 14 visitors per tour.
Walking Tours (Skagway Historic District)
Tours begin May 12th. Limit 30 visitors per tour.
* Untold Stories: Daily at 10:00am. Topics vary, but may include women, Alaska Native culture, and other lesser-known Klondike stories.
* Buffalo Soldiers: Daily at 2:00pm. Discover the unit of African American soldiers stationed in Skagway at the end of the gold rush.
* Gold Rush 101: Monday - Friday, at 9:00am, 11:00am, and 3:00pm, experience an overview of the gold rush.
