Harry S Truman National Historic Site to Offer Free Showings of Ken Burns' "The War"

Coming soon to Harry S Truman National Historic Site...a monthly evening film and discussion series.

We will begin on July 23, 2019, with Ken Burns' "The War." This seven part series explores America and World War II. Harry S Truman will forever have part of his legacy as a United States Senator, Vice President and President tied with these years. You may have seen it on PBS...here's your chance to talk about it.

Each month we will watch and discuss a different episode.

Programs will be at 6:00PM at our visitor center on Main Street in Independence.
