WELLFLEET, Mass. - Following a memorable public concert in 2018, Cape Cod National Seashore will welcome back the US Navy Band Northeast’s popular music group, Rhode Island Sound, for a free concert at 7 pm on Tuesday, July 9 at the outdoor amphitheater at Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham.

Rhode Island Sound is the most contemporary sounding group from Navy Band Northeast. This ensemble entertains audiences with music ranging from rhythm and blues to classic rock. Rhode Island Sound performs public concerts at a variety of venues, including Times Square in New York City during Fleet Week. The versatility and showmanship of this ensemble has kept it in great demand since its inception in 1974.

This free event is supported by Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore, the seashore’s philanthropic partner since 1987. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Bench seating is available on a first come, first served basis, with ample lawn seating. Picnicking is welcome, and bug spray is recommended.
