Fall, winter, and spring operating hours will begin at Homestead National Monument of America, starting on Tuesday Sept. 3, 2019. The monument will be open daily Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Along with the changing winter hours, the monument will offer a wide variety of upcoming daily programs.
“Fall is a great time of year to visit Homestead National Monument of America," stated Superintendent Mark Engler. “Some of the highlights include a Naturalization Ceremony on Sept. 17, Howling Homestead on Oct. 26, and the Winter Festival of Prairie Cultures beginning November 29 and continuing through December."
