The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Sept. 4, 2019. It is reproduced in full below.

The National Park Service (NPS) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) concerning a concession business opportunity to operate mobile food and beverage services within San Antonio Missions National Historical Park during NPS sponsored special events.

San Antonio Missions National Historical Park is located in San Antonio, Texas. The park includes four mission sites: Mission Concepción, Mission San José, Mission San Juan, and Mission Espada. The park spans across more than 7 miles in south San Antonio. Historically, there have not been any food or beverage vendor options within walking distance at these special events.

The NPS asks interested parties to apply for the proposed business opportunity no later than October 7, 2019. All applicants must complete a Commercial Use Authorization Application and pay the application fee. All applicants must meet the conditions described in the Commercial Use Authorization Application. Interested parties may download the 10-550 Commercial Use Application here. More information at the Request for Proposals page.
