A Day in the Life: Working on the Allegheny Portage Railroad

Costumed interpreters perform the tasks that made the Allegheny Portage Railroad function. Programs include stonecutting, log hewing, rope making, natural dyes and more! Programs vary on a daily basis. These programs are generally held daily from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM in the mornings and from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM in the afternoons through Sept. 27, 2020. The programs are weather and staff dependent.
