Tule Springs Advisory Council to Hold Meeting Sep 14

LAS VEGAS - The Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument Advisory Council will hold a virtual/teleconference council meeting at 5 p.m. Sept. 14.

The advisory council was established as part of the national park unit's enabling legislation to advise the Secretary of the Interior on the preparation and implementation of the park's management plan.

The meeting will include introduction of the new superintendent, updates on the final Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act report; the general management plan pre-planning; the Tufa Trail; and resources, along with discussion of council priorities.
