There will be a short-term closure of Angels Landing and the Lower West Rim Trail up to Scouts Lookout on November 10, 2020

On Tuesday, Nov. 10, Zion National Park Fire and Maintenance staff will be conducting aviation supported delivery of materials in and around Scouts Lookout. There will be a short-term closure of Angels Landing and the Lower West Rim Trail up to Scouts Lookout starting at 9:00 am until 3:00 pm on Tuesday.

All climbing routes, including overnight bivies on the Angels Landing formation to include upstream to Moonlight Buttress will be closed on Tuesday. If climbers plan to start earlier than Tuesday and overnight on a climb with plans to finish on Tuesday should not attempt that trip.

Big Bend Parking lot needs to be completely cleared of vehicles on Monday night. Any vehicles in the Big Bend parking lot at 7:00 am on Tuesday morning will be towed.
