Wrangell-St. Elias Subsistence Resource Commission Announces February 11-12 Meeting

COPPER CENTER, AK - The Wrangell-St. Elias National Park Subsistence Resource Commission will hold a virtual meeting by teleconference and videoconference on Thursday, Feb. 11, and possibly Friday, Feb. 12, 2021 to consider a range of issues related to subsistence hunting and fishing in the park.

Commission business will include an opportunity to develop proposals to change federal subsistence hunting and trapping regulations. The meeting is open to the public, and public testimony opportunities are provided. Members of the public are encouraged to participate. Written comments may also be emailed to WRST_subsistence@nps.gov by 4 PM on Monday, February 8, for presentation at the meeting.

On Feb. 11, the meeting will start at 9 AM and recess for the day at 5 PM or upon completion of business. On Feb. 12, the meeting will start at 9 AM and continue until business is completed. If business is completed on Feb. 11, 2021, the meeting will adjourn, and no meeting will take place on Feb. 12, 2021.
