US Park Rangers assigned to the Special Investigation Unit at Golden Gate National Recreation Area are seeking tips from the public to aid an investigation for a visitor fatality. On Jan. 21, 2021, a visitor fell from a cliff near Battery Rathbone, an area adjacent to the one-way section of Conzelman Road in the park.
Information from other visitors is often very helpful to investigators. If you were near Battery Rathbone or the one-way section of Conzelman Road on January 21 around 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., please contact us - even if you do not think you witnessed the incident.
