Whiskeytown, CA - "Fee Free Day on April 17th." "RECREATING Whiskeytown: An Evening with the Park Superintendent." "Whiskeytown the Beautiful: Volunteer Cleanup." These are three special events Whiskeytown National Recreation Area has announced that coincide with National Park Week 2021. Specifics of the events include the following:
* Saturday, April 17 is a Fee Free Day Whiskeytown relies on entrance pass money to complete several important projects each year, but we also realize the financial burden paying for a pass can cause. Trying to find the right balance, on Saturday, April 17th, it will be free to visit Whiskeytown and the rest of the National Park System. Other Fee Free Days for 2021 include August 4, Aug. 25, Sept. 25, and November 11 - plan ahead!
* RECREATING Whiskeytown: An Evening with the Park Superintendent Interested in learning what Whiskeytown employees have been doing to restore the park since the devastating Carr Fire of 2018?
