Seashore Road Construction Continues

Starting May 26, and continung through Aug. 31, 2021, construction crews will begin road patching and pavement preservation activities along secondary roads off Sir Frances Drake Boulevard in Point Reyes National Seashore. Delays are expected to be short in duration.

And as early as Tuesday, June 1, 2021, work will begin on the Schooner Bay Bridge on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. Traffic control lights will be installed on either side of the bridge for safety. Work on this section of the road is expected to continue through Aug. 31, 2021.

Construction crews continue to make progress on the Drakes Beach parking lot reconfiguration and wetlands restoration project. Drakes Beach will reopen to the public no later than August 31.

Many areas of the park remain open for all to enjoy. Visitors are reminded to recreate responsibly-please bring your own water, snacks, and hand sanitizer, and please pick up your trash.
