Petroglyph Celebrates the 105th Birthday of the NPS

Petroglyph and community members celebrated the 105th birthday of the National Park Service by participating in a cleanup of the Mesa Prieta area within Petroglyph National Monument on August 25th. Sponsors of the cleanup effort included the National Park Service, Albuquerque Clean Cities, and Pulte Homes. Participants were from Albuquerque Public Schools, Mirehaven community members, Pulte Homes staff, an Petroglyph National Monument volunteers and staff. The cleanup effort resulted in a total of 80 bags of trash collected.
