Change to Fall Hours at Mount Rushmore National Memorial

KEYSTONE, SD - Beginning on Oct. 28, the Lincoln Borglum Visitor Center and Information Center will open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m. The Lincoln Borglum Visitor Center and Information Center will transition to winter hours on November 7, opening at 8:00 a.m. and closing at 5:00 p.m. The Sculpture will continue to be lit at dusk until 9:00 p.m.

The Gift Shop hours are currently 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and starting on November 7 close an hour earlier at 6:00 p.m. The Carver’s Café will open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m.

Details on park hours, fees and passes are available on the park’s website www.nps.gov/moru and the new NPS app.

Consistent with CDC recommendations, masks must be worn indoors regardless of vaccination status. Additional details are available at www.nps.gov/coronavirus. As conditions are subject to change, visitors should check the park’s website and social media channels for details on operations before they visit.
