John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is ready for the winter season with new visitor center hours.
Beginning October 9, 2022, the Thomas Condon Visitor Center will be open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm every day. Park restrooms, trails, and overlooks are always open to enjoy.
Come explore the museum and view the fascinating fossil history of the area. You can also pick up holiday gifts from the park store, watch fossils being prepared in the lab, and enjoy the park film.
