USDA-APHIS offers new grant application process starting Oct. 12

The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is offering a grant open from Oct. 12 to Jan. 13.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS) is announcing the availability of up to $500,000 in funds in the National Animal Disease Preparedness and Response Program (NADPRP) to support Tribal projects in the topic areas listed below.Topic 1: Projects to Deliver Outreach & Education on Animal Disease Prevention, Preparedness, and ResponseTopic 2: Projects to Increase Livestock and Poultry BiosecurityTopic 3: Projects that Support Training & Exercises for Tribal Nations Animal Agriculture Sector RespondersTopic 4: Projects to Develop, Enhance, and Exercise Tribal Animal Disease Emergency Response PlansTopic 5: Projects to Enhance Animal Disease Traceability for a Disease Outbreak
