The most recent press release, "Biden-Harris Administration Invites Applications for Grants Under the Fertilizer Production Expansion Program," was submitted on Sept. 30.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture published six press releases the month before, marking a 16 percent decrease for the current month.

The Department is primarily focused on food nutrition, with assistance programs making up 80 percent of its budget. Downsizing the Federal Government, a project aimed at lowering taxes and boosting federal efficiency, said the Department implements too many regulations and restrictions and impedes the economy.

The USDA's budget for 2021 sat at $146 billion, with programming costing $119 billion.
