Fire restrictions have been lifted for Bureau of Land Management administered public lands in Campbell, Converse, Crook, Platte, and Sheridan counties.
The following activities can resume on BLM-administered lands:
· Building a campfire
· Smoking
· Operating a chainsaw
· Using an arc or gas welder or operating an acetylene or other torch.
The BLM reminds public land users that the following restrictions remain year-round on BLM-administered public lands:
· Discharging fireworks
· Discharging firearms using incendiary or tracer ammunition
· Burning or igniting tires, wires, magnesium, or other hazardous or explosive materials
· Operating an off-road vehicle without a properly installed spark arrester
· Discharging explosives of any kind, incendiary devices, pyrotechnic devices, or exploding targets.
