RENO, Nev. -The Bureau of Land Management invites industry representatives and the interested public to a workshop on legal authorizations (also known as “rights of way") for broadband installations on public land. The workshop will be held virtually, on Thursday, Nov. 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
“There is a great deal of interest in broadband development in Nevada and we think this workshop will serve as a useful guide for the public and our proponents," said Alan Shepherd, BLM Nevada Deputy State Director of Resources, Lands, and Planning.
The workshop will provide attendees current information on the broadband application process. The workshop will be hosted via a ZOOM virtual classroom setting.
Topics will include, but are not limited to:
* The SF-299 application form and process
* How to write a Plan of Development
* Cost recovery, rental fees, bonding
