Today, Education and Labor Committee Republican Leader Virginia Foxx (R-NC) issued the following statement in response to a new proposal put forth by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) that would allow its own officials to subvert the will of American workers based on purely subjective grounds:
“When union bosses say ‘jump’, the NLRB asks, ‘How high?’ Rather than adhering to the commonsense reforms enacted by Republican Board members in 2020 to limit the agency’s role in union elections, the Democrat-run NLRB operates as if it has a God complex-its actions reek of petulance. This proposal can be filed away as another brazen attempt to place the demands of union bosses above the will of American workers. The agency must be reined in accordingly."
