Census Bureau Announces Two New Members to Census Scientific Advisory Committee

The U.S. Census Bureau has appointed two new members to its Census Scientific Advisory Committee (CSAC). The panel provides recommendations on the design, operation and implementation of Census Bureau programs. Members serve three-year terms.

The new CSAC members are:

Jessica Hullman, Ph.D., Ginni Rometty Associate Professor of Computer Science, Northwestern University.

Gwynne Evans-Lomayesva, doctoral student, University of Pennsylvania.

The Census Bureau is set to hold its next meeting in September. At the meeting, panel members and representatives of various organizations from across the nation will discuss ways to improve censuses, surveys, operations and programs.
