The U.S. Census Bureau today released new tables from the 2020 and 2021 Current Population Survey (CPS) Annual Social and Economic Supplement.

These tables provide information on marital status, educational attainment, employment status, occupation, earnings and other social and economic statistics by:

* Age and sex 2020, 2021.

* Hispanic origin 2020, 2021.

* Asian alone 2020, 2021.

* Asian alone-or-in-combination 2020, 2021.

* Black alone 2020, 2021.

* Black alone-or-in-combination 2020, 2021.

* Older populations 2020, 2021.

* Foreign-born populations 2020, 2021.

For the first time, these products also contain information on coupled households, including estimates on same-sex and opposite-sex married and unmarried partner households for these populations.

The CPS is one of the oldest, largest and most well-recognized surveys in the United States. In addition to being the primary source of monthly labor force statistics, it is also used to collect data for a variety of other studies that keep the nation informed of the economic and social well-being of its people.
