California Trail Interpretive Center Park Ranger jobs open now

The Bureau of Land Management Elko District and the California Trail Interpretive Center (CTIC) are seeking applications for two Park Ranger jobs open to the public and Federal employees closing December 1, 2022, or when there are 30 applicants for each position.  “These Park Ranger positions are both permanent full-time offering the opportunity to begin a rewarding career working for BLM and the California Trail Center,” said BLM Elko Deputy District Manager Jearred Foruria.

The California Trail Interpretive Center focuses on themes related to the California National Historic Trail during from of 1841-1869. This includes a vast array of subjects including historical, cultural, and natural resource related subjects. The candidates will be active in all realms of visitor services including the volunteer program, facilitation of interpretation and education programming, planning, creating interpretive media and more.
