Washington, DC - Today, Representatives Gregory W. Meeks, Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Ami Bera, Chair of the Subcommittee on Asia, the Pacific, Central Asia, and Nonproliferation, arrived in Cambodia to represent the United States in the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) at the request of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
While in Cambodia, the delegation will attend the plenary sessions of AIPA, hold bilateral engagements with ASEAN Member Parliaments, and meet with members of civil society.
