Washington, D.C. - House Energy and Commerce Republican Leader Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) released the following statement on the passing of Rep. Donald McEachin (D-VA):
“I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Congressman McEachin yesterday evening. He was a respected voice on the Energy and Commerce Committee, and served the people of Virginia faithfully in this position. He will be greatly missed by all of his colleagues on both sides of the aisle. I pray God’s comfort for his wife Colette, his three children, staff, and constituents during this difficult time."
