Risch on 200 Years of U.S.-Mexico Relations

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Jim Risch (R-Idaho), ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, today released the following statement on the 200th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United States and Mexico:

“Over the last two centuries, the people of the United States and Mexico have developed deep cultural, economic, and diplomatic relations that have been instrumental in creating prosperity in both countries and throughout the Americas. As ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, I will continue to promote measures that reaffirm mutually beneficial interests between our two nations, including on security, economic prosperity, and democratic values."
