Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum will be closed from Jan. 1 to March 2023 for significant floor renovations. The planned renovation will stabilize the 35-year-old structure, preventing further settling and making the floor more durable and easier to maintain. Canyons of the Ancients National Monument, Escalante Trail, and access to visit Dominguez and Escalante Pueblos will remain open.
“Over the next three months, crews will be working hard to make much-needed repairs to our Visitor Center and Museum,” said Ray O’Neil, Manager of Canyons of the Ancients National Monument. “We thank you for your patience and look forward to welcoming the community back in March 2023.”
