The 2015 Legislative Branch Appropriations bill would provide:
* $1.18 billion for the U.S. House of Representatives, which is equal to the 2015 enacted level and equal to the President’s budget request.
** Within that total, Members’ Representational Allowances and Committees are funded at the 2015 enacted level.
* $369 million for the Capitol Police, which is $21 million more than the 2015 enacted level and $9.9 million less than the President’s budget request.
* $47.3 million for the Congressional Budget Office, which is $1.6 million more than the 2015 enacted level and equal to the President’s budget request.
* $492.2 million for the Architect of the Capitol (excluding Senate items), which is $13.7 million less than the 2015 enacted level and $84.8 million less than the President’s budget request.
* $591.4 million for the Library of Congress, which is $510,000 more than the 2015 enacted level and $33.1 million less than the President’s budget request.
** Within that total, $106.9 million is provided for the Congressional Research Service, which is equal to the 2015 enacted level and $5 million less than the President’s budget request.
* $110.2 million for the Government Publishing Office, which is $9.8 million less than the 2015 enacted level and 9.8 million less than the President’s budget request.
** Within that total, no funding is provided for the Revolving Fund, for which $9.76 million was requested. This funding was requested to develop the new FDsys website for public access of federal documents, to upgrade an electrical substation necessary to meet the power requirements of GPO’s main buildings, and for other purposes.
* $522 million for the Government Accountability Office, which is equal to the 2015 enacted level and $31.1 million less than the President’s budget request.
* $5.7 million for Open World Leadership Center Trust Fund, which is equal to the 2015 enacted level and $2.3 million less than the President’s budget request.
The bill includes a provision to prevent a Cost of Living Increase for Members of Congress for Fiscal Year 2016.
