Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), Chair of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development, held a public hearing to examine and stress the importance of the Department of Energy’s (DOE) investment in energy innovation. The hearing included a discussion of the changing nature of America’s energy demands, including past, present, and future energy trends. The Subcommittee heard testimony from energy experts representing a wide variety of sectors, offering valuable governmental, business, and global perspectives.
