House Democrats File Stopgap Funding Bill

WASHINGTON - House Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Nita M. Lowey (D-NY) today introduced a continuing resolution to extend federal government funding an additional day to allow year-end spending legislation to be adopted.

The House is expected to consider the legislation this evening. The text of the legislation, H. J. Res. 110, is available.
