Meet our intern Carolyn Subramanium

Natural Resources Management Intern, Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail.

School attending: University of Maryland

Majoring in: Public Health Science

Minoring in: Sustainability Studies

In 2022, Carolyn Subramanium served as an intern with the U.S. Department of State’s Virtual Student Federal Service program working with the National Park Service on a project for the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail. Carolyn worked to create a story map Project on the four Lower Snake River dams in Washington State.

“Conducting research for this project has really opened my eyes about the urgency of protecting threatened and endangered salmonids in the Columbia River Basin.
