Writing Residency 2023

Jason Myers is an Episcopal priest and the author of the poetry collection Maker of Heaven & (Belle Point Press, 2023) and A Place for the Genuine: Reflections on Nature, Poetry, and Vocation (Eerdmans, 2024). A National Poetry Series finalist, his writing has appeared in dozens of magazines including The Believer, Image, Kenyon Review, Orion, and The Paris Review. He serves as editor-in-chief of EcoTheo Review and co-executive director of EcoTheo Collective, an arts nonprofit that celebrates wonder, enlivens conversations, and inspires commitments to ecology, spirituality, and art. A graduate of Bennington College, he received an MFA from NYU and an MDiv from Emory University, where he was an FTE Fellow sponsored by Ebenezer Baptist Church. He lives in Houston with his family.
