State Department discusses Notice of a Public Meeting in Preparation for the International Maritime Organization FAL 47 Meeting on Jan. 25

The US State Department published a one page notice on Jan. 25, according to the U.S. Government Publishing Office.

The notice is focused on Notice of a Public Meeting in Preparation for the International Maritime Organization FAL 47 Meeting.

The State Department is responsibly for international relations with a budget of more than $50 billion. Tenure at the State Dept. is increasingly tenuous and it's seen as an extension of the President's will, ambitions and flaws.

Notices are required documents detailing rules and regulations being proposed by each federal department. This allows the public to see what issues legislators and federal departments are focusing on.

Any person or organization can comment on the proposed rules. Departments and agencies must then address “significant issues raised in comments and discuss any changes made,” the Federal Register says.
